Moldova:
Moldova feels marked by its Soviet past. The infrastructure often looks tired, with cracked concrete, wide avenues built for parades rather than people, and buildings that haven’t changed much since the 1980s.It’s a small country, squeezed between Romania and Ukraine, and life there often seems to run on a slower rhythm. While you can feel the warmth of its people, you also see how the legacy of the USSR still lingers, from the architecture to the way the cities are planned. Moldova is a place where history is written in concrete.
