Latvia:
Latvia stretches along the Baltic Sea, and nowhere is this more visible than in Jūrmala — a seaside town known for its long sandy beaches and old wooden villas. Walking there, you feel the mix between a resort once meant for Soviet elites and today’s holiday atmosphere. The rest of the country carries the same balance: traces of the past on one side, and a clear look toward Europe on the other. Riga is lively, modern, and fast-changing, but Jūrmala remains a reminder of another time, quiet and slightly faded, yet full of character.
